Basic Herbal Care Certification at the Northeast Holistic Center
Taught within the philosophy of total wellness (body, mind, emotions and spirit), the Basic Herbal Care Certification is a more in-depth study of and experiential work with herbs within the Basic Herbal Care classes.
This comprehensive certification course in herbal health care covers the use of traditional herbs, along with aromatherapy, flower essences, homeopathy, tea infusions and decoctions, tinctures, pills, capsules, salves and creams in the creation of herbal remedies. Hands-on experience in the identification of herbs and the creation of remedies is offered. Students are even taught how to decipher and interpret the labels on herbal remedies found in stores.
The Basic Herbal Care Certification program includes the twenty-four classes, practicum work and application for certification. Note: You can take an individual class, OR you can take the twenty-four class course certification program. Basic Herbal Care is also offered as a correspondence course.
